Ok I am thinking about purchasing the Bob Revolution duallie the 12inch wheels all around. I have the Baby Jogger City series double and it is too wide and too hard for me to push with my 2 year old and 1 year old in the stroller. I have tried the Graco duoglider and hated it, the peg perego aria twin and it was too flimsy, and the combi side by side and the wheels fell off during a mall visit!
I mainly use the stroller for mall use and, theme parks, and stores. I don't do any jogging but I find that all the double strollers with small wheels fall apart.
So I need help finding a stroller that won't be too heavy, but will suit my needs.
I have a ten month old and a 3 year old. I have a safety first tandem double stroller right now, stadium seating one in back one if front. Its just HUGE (unfolded and folded!) and it weighs about 50 tons. Also the baby can get out of the darn seatbelts on the 5pt harness so i have to put him in the seat with the 3pt, which he could still get out of. ~~I want a double stroller, im thinking jogging (with 3 wheels?) that breaks down smaller, is a lot easier to push, has a good sun canopy that prodides shade, and buckles that arent so loose and flimsy as the one i have! Anyone have any good reccomendations?
Ahh! The joys of finding the perfect stroller. I am looking for a jogging stroller that is a double as my son will be only 18 months old when the one I am pregs with is due. I also want one that has the real tires no the cheap plastic ones. A canopy and 5 point harness as my son likes to try and wiggle his way out. Now I like the jeep brand but if I can find something similar I will be happy. Oh one last thing I found some singles that accommodate a infant car seat/ carrier I would like a double that can accommodate one for the baby. Any idea? If possible at a decent price I know with all that I am asking it might get pricey but i already have a crib and changing table swing and all the extras so we will be spending the majority of our budget on a good car seat and jogging stroller as I need to shed all the baby weight as I have had 3 babies in the last 3 years yikes.Ha Ha an added note this is the last thank god to tubal ligation's ha ha! God Bless all you Mommy's that have more than three I would pull my hair out. You are some sort of super mom.
I am totally overwhelmed with all the different brands and types of jogging strollers, does anyone have any good recommendations?
I am seeing InSTEP, Schwinn, Jeep, Graco, etc. I mainly need it just for running and/or walking in my neighborhood. I have a 20 pound one year old boy and a 30 pound three year old girl. Thank you for any help in advance!
So-
My husband & I have the graco snugride travel set (stroller & car seat), a jogging stroller & an umbrella stroller. we are planning on having another baby, so here is the question:
We want a lightweight stroller (none of the above have a basket except the travel one & it is so heavy for me to lift in/out of the car). Should I get another one for this child or wait & get a double stroller when baby 2 comes along. (PS- I get them all at yard sales, ect... so I am not spending much & I do keep one of the at my parents house).
I am so torn over what stroller is a good one- he only likes the jogging stroller but it is HUGE (it is from the 90's I think) so we just use it to take walks around home. The travel one is big, too, and he hates to be in it. The jeep umbrella is nice, but without the basket, I can't do much.
Thanks for your advice. (dumb question, but I just don't know what will work for us & its so hard to carry him- as he is 10 months old)
When my next child is here in February my daughter will be 23 months. Right now we have a normal stroller for her that we use fairly often. I've used it a lot for jogging, although it isn't a jogging stroller. After I have this second baby I want to continue with my jogging and running, but I know I'll need a new stroller. I highly doubt I can get a normal double stroller that will be easy to run with so I'm guessing a jogging stroller would be best?...Do you think a double jogging stroller would be a good idea? Of course I've looked and all the top-rated ones are upwards of 500 bucks and that's just not going to happen right now, but I'm afraid to get a cheaper one due to quality. Anyways, what would you do? Go for the double jogging stroller or find something different?
Haha, yeah I had to get used to pushing that extra weight with my daughter, so I'll just LOVE seeing myself doing it with two now. Thanks
1. Does anyone have the Instep Safari Double jogging stroller http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B000IORPYW/ref=s9_asin_image_1/002-4732618-8532818 ? If no, which one do you have?
2. Are you able to fit the double jogging stroller you have in the trunk of a sedan (namely Toyota Corolla)
3. Do you recommend the stroller you have to others, and why?
Also: I'm wanting to get it for exercise walking ~4 miles per day. I expect that my oldest child, who will turn 4 in July, will eventually end up sitting in it each time we are out walking, but at what age do children absolutely refuse to sit in a stroller?
I know I'm asking for a lot of info, so thank you in advance for taking the time, if there's anything else you'd like to share in reference to a double jogging stroller I'd be grateful.
